Lalita is compassion, playfulness and love. Shakti is power — the energy behind action. Intelligence is what carries them into the world. Lali was never meant to be "just an assistant" — the name itself carries compassion and power together, before any code is written.

Reading the Logo

Every element on the SHUNYA flag is deliberate — drawn from the classical Indian principles of साम, दाम, दंड, भेद, plus the protection of a kul devta.

SHUNYA started in 2018 as a simple question: why should technology stop working for you the moment it doesn't understand your language? That question turned into years of research on speech, language and human‑centric computing, and in 2022 became a company built around one belief — that AI can only be trusted with real responsibility once it can reliably tell a real human from a fake one.

Today we build the identity, presence and anti‑deepfake infrastructure that banks, hospitals, schools and government systems need before they let AI act on a person's behalf — alongside Lali, our language‑agnostic AI assistant, built to be usable by anyone, in any language, online or off.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Straightforward terms for API access and subscriptions — full detail is in our Terms of Service.

Free trial period
New accounts get a limited free‑tier quota across all five APIs. No payment is taken during the trial, so there's nothing to refund until you upgrade.

Subscription refunds
Paid plans can be cancelled for a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge, provided API usage stayed within free‑tier limits during that period.

Usage‑based billing
API calls already processed (identity checks, deepfake scans, verifications) are non‑refundable once consumed, as they reflect real compute and verification cost.

Cancel anytime
Cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing cycle, with no further charges after.

Enterprise & institutional plans
Custom contracts for banks, hospitals, government bodies and universities follow the refund terms agreed in the signed order form or MSA.

How to request a refund
Email billing@shunya.ai with your account ID and reason. Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
